In addition to our current offerings, the Governing Body will be launching Tenderness Home Health.  This organization will be responsible for providing skilled nursing and other services to current and new clients.  We are seeking applications for an Administrator to help with the implementation and oversight of this organization.

The Administrator is a qualified, full-time employee who will be appointed by the Governing Body to administer, direct and coordinate all administrative and financial activities of the Tenderness Home Health agency.  Below are several key responsibilities of the position.  We encourage you to reach out to Keith Rogers, Chief Operating Officer for Tenderness Health Care, for a more comprehensive list of duties and expectations.  He can be reached at: krogers@tendernesshealthcare.com.

Responsibilities:

  • With support of the Governing Body and the THC COO, participates in the implementation of the program in accordance with the guidelines provided by 21st Century Home Health Consultants.
  • Undertakes fiscal planning by budgeting and managing operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters.
  • Implements and oversees Governing Body directives and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensures staff development, including orientation, in-service education, continuing education and staff evaluation.
  • Ensure that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished, are under the supervision and direction of a physician or Registered Nurse.
  • Ensure that they, or a designated person is available during all operating hours.
  • Participates in the review, analysis and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total agency program.
  • Familiarizes themselves with the federal, state and accreditation regulations and maintains them in the Agency.
