Therapy Services
Physical Therapy Services
Physical therapy is a specialized discipline that combines science and art to employ various techniques aimed at restoring bodily function, reducing pain, and preventing future injury. Our mission is to help patients whose daily lives are impacted by injuries, accidents, chronic medical conditions, or re-injury, and to facilitate their return to normalcy.
We primarily focus on treating disorders and injuries affecting the musculoskeletal system, which includes muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Additionally, we offer post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our skilled healthcare professionals evaluate and treat patients using individualized programs that aim to restore independence in daily living activities, thereby enabling patients to return to their previous levels of function.
Physical therapy services may be available through the applicable therapy provider for eligible patients who need evaluation or treatment to support mobility, strength, balance, safety, function, or recovery after illness, injury, surgery, or a change in condition.
Physical therapy services are subject to clinical evaluation, medical necessity, provider requirements, payor rules, authorization when required, scheduling availability, and patient choice.
Patients may choose any qualified physical therapy provider and are not required to use a Tenderness-affiliated therapy provider to receive any other Tenderness-affiliated service.
