Physical Therapy & General Rehabilitation
Physical therapy is a specialized discipline that combines science and art to employ various techniques aimed at restoring bodily function, reducing pain, and preventing future injury. Our mission is to help patients whose daily lives are impacted by injuries, accidents, chronic medical conditions, or re-injury, and to facilitate their return to normalcy.
We primarily focus on treating disorders and injuries affecting the musculoskeletal system, which includes muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, and tendons. Additionally, we offer post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our skilled healthcare professionals evaluate and treat patients using individualized programs that aim to restore independence in daily living activities, thereby enabling patients to return to their previous levels of function.
Our approach is goal-oriented, with a hands-on focus that has proven to be highly effective in helping our patients restore physical function, improve mobility, build strength and endurance, and enhance their motor skills for performing daily activities.

Auto Injury Rehabilitation
We understand the devastating impact that car accidents can have on individuals both physically and financially. Auto accidents often result in complex injuries that can cause a range of symptoms, including whiplash, back pain, and injuries to various extremities such as the neck, shoulders, and knees.
Although some individuals may not experience symptoms immediately following a car accident, they may subsequently suffer from pain and decreased mobility. The trauma associated with these injuries may take days or even weeks to fully manifest. Therefore, seeking immediate and appropriate treatment is crucial to ensure optimal recovery. The longer you wait to seek treatment, the harder it may be to return to your normal routine.
We are committed to providing excellent services, communication, and accessibility to help you get back to work and life as soon as possible.

Work Injuries
If injured workers have completed physical or occupational therapy but still have functional deficits or deconditioning preventing them from returning to work, they may benefit from a specialized program aimed at returning them to work. Typically, these programs are suitable for workers who have been injured for at least 30 days and have a job with medium to high physical demands. The programs involve work simulation activities that help injured workers get back to work.
Our work programs are tailored to the individual needs of each injured worker and are designed to be goal-oriented and structured. They are multidisciplinary in nature and include real or simulated work activities that aim to restore physical functions necessary for returning to work.

Pediatric Rehabilitation
At Dr. Vazquez Therapy Center, we provide specialized care for children with orthopedic conditions. Our team of experienced physical and occupational therapists work collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans that address a wide range of issues, including those caused by trauma, blows, falls, or fractures. We understand that children have unique needs and require a different approach to therapy than adults. That’s why we take a family-centered approach to care, involving parents and caregivers in the treatment process to ensure that the child is receiving the best possible care.
Our physical therapy programs are designed to help children restore strength, mobility, and range of motion, while also addressing pain and discomfort. We use a variety of techniques, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and aquatic therapy, to help children achieve their goals and return to their normal activities.
Our occupational therapy programs focus on improving the child’s ability to perform daily tasks, such as dressing, grooming, and schoolwork. We use play-based therapy to help children develop the skills they need to perform these tasks, while also addressing any sensory or motor issues that may be present.
Our team is dedicated to helping children recover from orthopedic injuries and conditions, and we work closely with families, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure that each child receives comprehensive care that addresses their unique needs.
