Tenderness Health Care is looking for a FULL-TIME Director of Nursing (DON). The DON will be responsible for coordination of client care, supervision of the staff nurses, support in staff training and hiring. The DON works directly with other department managers and reports to the CEO.

Primary responsibilities include:
● Adherence to current regulations, operating guidelines

● Maintaining high standards of care for all patients

● Care coordination with patient’s doctor and care team

● Training all Personal Care Workers

● Must be able to conduct in-person assessments

● Recruiting, Training and onboarding all nursing staff

● Implementing new procedures and training nurses on policies

● Proficient computer skills

Education requirements:

● Active and current nursing license in WI, as well as any other certifications required by the state or agency

● Previous clinical experience in home health or hospice setting, minimum 1-year preferred

● Successful background check

Desired competencies:

● Knowledgeable in WI DHS regulations for Personal Care Services

● Knowledgeable in WI regulations for Nursing

● Ability to practice a high level of discretion

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,768.66 – $138,496.30 per year
